Meet Our Team

GREGG MACKINTOSH  (Southern NH, Eastern MA, Cape & Islands)

Gregg has years of experience as a superintendent, including overseeing nine courses while working for a management company. This position provided him with a great insight of managing products that provided optimal benefits to the golf courses and owners, offered a segue into sales, and ultimately the opportunity of becoming one the owners of Atlantic Golf & Turf.

 

SCOTT MACKINTOSH  (Central & Western MA)

Scott (and his brother Gregg) come from a family that has worked in the golf industry for three generations. He holds a Master’s degree in Turfgrass Science and has worked for over 15 years in turfgrass sales. He is proud to be a co-owner of Atlantic Golf & Turf.

 

ALLAN SMITH  (Manager)

Allan has worked in the fertilizer, chemical and seed industry for almost 30 years and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to AG&T every day as our Manager. He has also become a Co-Owner.

 

JOHN GARCIA  (CT & Western MA)

John joined us in 2011 and is now a Co-Owner. His prior experience includes 13 years as a Golf Course Superintendent and a total of 20 years in the golf industry.  He has spent time at both public and private clubs, which will help him provide services and consultation for all of your agronomic needs regardless of your budget.

 

CHRIS COWAN  (Western MA, VT, CT & Eastern NY)
Chris started in the Green Business at the tender age of 10 working for his dad Brian Cowan at Eastward Ho! CC in Chatham, MA.  He didn’t plan on a career in turf when he left for UMAINE but not long after college he was drafted back into the business.  He’s been working with turf professionals since the early 90s and enjoys helping customers meet their agronomic and genetic turf challenges.

 

MIKE GUIBORD   (Maine)
Mike spent 15 years on the golf course facing the same challenges our clients deal with every day. Changing to the sales side of the industry in 2006 presented him with a new perspective on the art of turf management. Mike's greatest reward is seeing a program he helped create solve a problem for a client.

 

RICK BRASSOR  (NH & VT)
Rick has been with the company since 2013. He brings experience primarily from the world of horticulture with recent experience with the world of turf gained with a CT company as an outside sales rep. Rick is an outgoing individual who always puts the customers needs first and believes service and relations build a strong bond of trust.  He looks forward to growing with his customer base and invites potential clients to reach out for his technical services.

 

JOE ARNONE (CT, Western MA, NY)

Joe has been in the green industry since 2003, where he first started as an assistant groundskeeper for a Minor League Baseball team in New Haven, CT.  Since then, Joe has spent time working in the landscape and lawn care side of the business, as well as on the turf and ornamental sales side. Joe looks forward to using his 13 years of experience to help you find the best solutions for your Sports fields and landscape.

 

PETER GORMAN  (Eastern CT and Central Mass)

Peter is a graduate of the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science.  He has fortified his education by completing Winter School for Turf Managers at the University of Massachusetts.  His strong work ethic, scientific approach, and outstanding people skills make him the perfect addition to our team. Beyond his formal education, Peter brings nearly 20 year of experience managing high end golf courses and an insatiable desire to further his education.

 

BRIAN GOUDEY  (New York)

Brian has over 30 years’ experience in the turfgrass industry and has been recognized by his peers for his commitment to promote, educate, support and serve. With his extensive experience and knowledge of products, Brian excels in building relationships with clients.  He collaborates with them to problem solve the challenges turf managers face on a daily basis. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, skiing, camping and spending time with his grandkids.

 

 

DAINA DAVENPORT  (Office Manager)

Daina Davenport comes to us from a background in customer service, with years of experience waiting tables and managing a restaurant staff, as well as 4 years in high-end retail. She also brings a farm girl’s work ethic and pride in a job well done to her role in our office.
